Use of Daily Up
Daily Up is intended for personal productivity notes, general work progress, stand-up notes, learning, monthly goals, completed tasks, and similar high-level work reflections. Daily Up is not an official company record system, source-code repository, password manager, document-management platform, incident-management system, or storage location for confidential business records.
If you use Daily Up in connection with your job, employer, customer, contractor, or client work, you are responsible for confirming that your organisation permits you to use Daily Up for that information and that storing it in an external service is allowed.
You must comply with your employer's confidentiality, information-security, intellectual-property, acceptable-use, and data-handling policies. Keep workplace entries general and high level.
No Confidential or Sensitive Workplace Data
You must not store confidential, proprietary, commercially sensitive, restricted, classified, or non-public business information in Daily Up.
You must not store passwords, API keys, access tokens, secrets, certificates, authentication details, private URLs, database credentials, environment variables, or other security-sensitive information.
You must not store source code, internal architecture details, private API specifications, customer lists, pricing arrangements, contracts, unpublished product information, security vulnerabilities, or internal incident details unless you have clear authority to do so.
You must not store personal data belonging to customers, colleagues, patients, clients, or other third parties unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate authorisation. Do not store special-category or highly sensitive personal data, including health information, financial details, identification documents, disciplinary information, or similar sensitive records.
Avoid naming clients, commercial partners, projects, or third-party providers unless that relationship is already public and you are permitted to mention it.
Appropriate: "Working on a backend API integration for a third-party provider." Not appropriate: entries containing private endpoints, credentials, customer data, internal business logic, unreleased project names, or confidential technical details.
Misuse and Content Removal
You are responsible for the content you submit. Daily Up may remove content or suspend accounts where the service is being misused or where content presents a security, legal, privacy, or confidentiality risk.
Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Daily Up requires email verification and may sign you out automatically for security. If you enable authenticator-app two-factor authentication, you are responsible for keeping access to that authenticator app or recovery may require manual support.
Availability and MVP Status
Daily Up is an MVP and may change. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will meet every use case.
